A common question I get from patients regarding fat transfer to the buttock (Brazilian buttock lift) is ” How many cc’s will you inject per side?”. This is a difficult question to answer and depends on the available fat from the patient’s body. I have injected any where from 200cc- 800cc per side and I can’t honestly say that the patient’s who get the most volume have the best results with Brazilian buttock lift Beverly Hills. What is more important than how much is injected, is how much of the injected fat is retained or kept. This can vary significantly depending on the technique used, the patient’s compliance with post-operative position and other factors related to blood supply. Generally speaking, about 30-40% of the injected fat typically atrophies and shrinks, so a slight overcorrection is performed when possible. Remember, this is more of a shaping procedure than an augmentation procedure. Patients who get only 300cc per side can have excellent results.
