Here is a patient who underwent a fat transfer to the buttock (Brazilian buttock lift) approximately four months ago. 540 cc of fat was injected per side. Notice the reshaping and the contour creation of the hip area. The results at this point are felt to be permanent- whatever initial atrophy of the fat cells which has occurred resolved. As this patient gains or loses weight, the fat cells in the buttock will increase or decrease accordingly.
